Challenges:
JWADI’s baseball cap threw deep shadows across his face, making autofocus unreliable. I leaned on manual adjustments and live viewfinder checks to lock focus precisely where it needed to be.

Key Editing Moves:
Light & Color Adjustments
The original image came in underexposed with heavy green stage lighting. To bring JWADI’s expressions to life, I:
Pushed the exposure by +1 stop and lifted shadows (+39) to recover facial detail.
Pulled back the whites (-31) and highlights (-100) to control glare from the sweat and stage lights.
Applied a magenta tint (+118) and reduced green saturation dramatically to neutralize the venue’s lighting.
Stylistic Touches
Faded the deepest blacks slightly with tone curves for a softer contrast.
Boosted vibrance (+20) to keep the blue jersey and skin tones natural yet punchy.
Fine-tuned the red and blue channels in the color mixer to let JWADI’s jersey pop.
Why I Picked It
This frame captured the study in intensity JWADI brought to Philly. You can feel the heat radiating off the stage, see every bead of sweat, and sense the focus it took to deliver his set solo.
